Refund and Returns Policy

At DWDPLATES, we understand that unforeseen circumstances may require changes to your number plate order. We strive to offer a flexible cancellation policy while also ensuring fair treatment for both parties involved. Please review our cancellation policy below, which applies to any purchase involving custom orders:

1. Order Cancellation Timing: Customers have the option to cancel their custom number plate order within 1 hour of placing the order without incurring any cancellation fees. If the cancellation request is received after 1 hour, the cancellation will be subject to the terms outlined below.

2. Cancellation Fees – Custom Plates/Private Plates : Cancellations made after 1 hour of placing the order, in which the plates are yet to be dispatched, incur a cancellation fee of £10 per plate, plus a transaction charge of 1.5% (of the order) + £0.20p.

• 2.1 Cancellation Fees – Number Plate Key Rings: Cancellations made after 1 hour of placing the order, in which the Key Rings are yet to be dispatched, incur a cancellation fee of £5 per Key Ring, plus a transaction charge of 1.5% (of the order) + £0.20p.

3. Refund Process: Refunds for eligible cancellations will be processed on the same day the cancellation is approved. The refund will be issued using the same payment method used for the original purchase. Please note that it may take additional time for the refund to reflect in your account, depending on your bank’s processing time.

• 3. Cash Refund Process: Unfortunately, there is strictly no refunds on orders paid in cash. If you’ve paid in cash, the order would have already been completed to your specification and we will not be able to refund this.

4. Modification Instead of Cancellation: Customers who wish to make changes to their custom number plate order instead of canceling may do so within 1 hour of placing the order without incurring any modification fees. After this period, modification requests may be subject to an additional fee, as the original order may already have been processed.

5. Production and Shipment Stage: Once an order has entered the shipment and processing stage, cancellations are no longer possible. Customers will be responsible for the full payment of the order.

6. Special Circumstances: In cases of unforeseen events such as legal restrictions, technical issues, or any other circumstances that prevent the completion of the order, DWDPLATES reserves the right to cancel the order and provide a full refund to the customer.

8. Policy Changes: DWDPLATES reserves the right to modify or update this cancellation policy at any time. Customers will be subject to the cancellation policy in place at the time of their order placement.
